As students across Florida and in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties head back to school over the next week, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), its division of the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), reminds us that August is Child Safety Awareness Month.
